Should Kim have been on her own? Should those around her, e.g. Bryant and Woody, have listened to her more?

I can see why they didn't - Bryant because he hadn't gotten any strange vibe from Alex and Woody because the case with Ruth had been solved and there was no evidence to suggest that Alex had been involved. However, I think she's got a pretty good record with them so they shouldn't have dismissed her concerns out of hand like they did - they at least owed it to her to listen to her thoughts.

No but she didn't have anyone to work with as Bryant didn't think Alex was a threat.

Bryant should have listened because he's Kim's friend as well as her second-in-command; Woody does not have the luxury of friendship or loyalty, he can only go on facts, and nothing pointed to Alex being rogue.

I was amazed that the people she worked with and knew how right her hunches always were...swept her suspicions under the rug the way they all did. Her commander was downright rude and bullheaded in his dismissal...unprofessional. I agree with >5 Sergeirocks: about Woody needing FACTS over THOUGHTS...but he never gave her a chance to present anything that she had learned. He could have given her a chance and encouraged her to get those needed facts..

Even with Kim’s great hunches, the evidence against Alex just wasn’t there. People who are troubled can do disturbing things no matter who’s trying to help them. That’s why it was so hard to prove what Alex was doing.
