What do you think of New Moon i find it heart breaking and yet beutiful i love when they vote that bella becomes a vampire fav book ever.

i completely agree--the one thing that sucks for me is that my friend gave away the ending so i knew he didn't die! even though its obvious that they wouldn't kill off edward, i still like to get caught up in the book and i hate it when the surprise is lost. still loved the book though, and i hope bella changes into a vampire next book!!!

I "enjoyed" New Moon because I was so attached to the characters. But my heart felt like it was torn from my body when Edward left. As an outsider I knew that he still loved her and he left to keep her safe, but couldn't imagine how he could bring himself to do this.

I am not a Jacob Black fan. He's the lovable friend but annoying third wheel that you feel like you're using when you hang out with. I've had a number of Jacob Blacks in my life--mostly in college. And reading about Jacob brings back the pain of balancing a friendship that isn't quite platonic. It's a round position to be in.

Moving on to Eclipse was much more enjoyable than reading New Moon. But I liked them both.

I don't like New Moon as much as the other books in the series. We all know why. During my first re-read I felt as desolate as Bella, only waiting for the moment when Edward would come back. I couldn't consentrate on anything else. At the end of each chaptere I was like, "surely he will return..... NOW!!"

i think it's the most heartbreaking part of the twilight saga and it was kinda boring not having Edward in some of the chapters

I cried quite a bit, as well. Although, I don't particularly like this installment. I spent too much time going..."what about Victoria"...and "when is Edward coming back" to really enjoy the time she spent with Jacob. And I'm not a huge Jacob fan. (I know many of you feel differently.) But the time spent with him was really just filler (for me) until Edward returned. The end was great but it was here that the relationship seemed most one-sided to me. It's actually in this book that I started to dislike Jacob.

I just finished New Moon again for the 28th time today and now I'm on Eclipse again. I loved New Moon because Jacob and Bella get closer in their relationship. I still cry like a baby when Edward leaves Bella. I even cried when she threw herself at him in Volterra. I know when I see the movie in theaters this November I'm going to cry. So I will definetely be bringing lots and lots of tissues.

Just don't forget there are many other great books out there. (I understand the endless rereads.)

Might I suggest Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side. It's a lovely little book. And it held the same emotions for me that Twilight did, but the story was VERY different. (If nothing else, it's worth the buy for the yummy dust jacket!)

Message 13: I have that book and I've read it so many times that I've had to replace it...twice. LOL. I also like Christine Feehan's Carpathian series, she's an awesome writer!

if talking about other series like Christine Feehans, than i love Sherrilyn Kenyons serie about the dark hunters^^
it is more than lovely and one always feels the love. I do not really love Christine Feehan, i have a few of her books but they do not catch me as much as maybe Anne Bishop. now that is an awesome writer XD

but i do not agree with you on Jacob, i love Jacob, just not as much as Edward. and i cannot wait for the movie. im sure i'll cry.
