Gene Hackman as Murray N. Rothbard. Aside from the fact that Hackman's voice is several magnitudes lower than Rothbard's, I think this is a perfect fit.

Any other suggestions? Come on people, deadline soon.

Woody Allen is F.A. Hayek. Accent and everything.

Maybe Ian McKellan for Loren Lomasky, since he pulled off the big white beard so well in LOTR... but I need to think on that one a bit.

Ben Kingsley would be the best choice of the two for von Mises. Kingsley has the ears and everything.

Any ideas for Rand?

No ideas for Rand, but if Robert Heinlein gained a few pounds he could play Mises. Weird.

I've been thinking about Rand. Helen Mirren played her in The Passion of Ayn Rand.

Maybe Charlotte Rampling:

Nice, citygirl. And Oakes: definitely Kingsley. Great choice.

Even if she were eighty and in a wheelchair, Charlotte Rampling would be erotically attractive to me, due to the the clarity and strength of her philosophical and ethical ideas.
