Collective authors

Guys, how do I add a collective author, and how do I reference the authors who together make up the collective author (the particular collective author is a husband-and-wife team with a collective nom-de-guerre)? Not sure where I can ask this, so hope it's here.

Best,

John

If they write under a single name (like Ilona Andrews), just use the name they are using).

If they work under their own names:
- Chose one to become the author
- Add the other as an additional author (primary, all versions).

Do NOT combine combined versions of them with individual author's entries.

Just add the book they wrote & the system will take care of the rest. If the system gives you gnarly data, you can correct it by going to the author page, scrolling down to "Add other authors" & correcting it there.

You can add information about the team in CK on the author page. Gender of collective authors is n/a even if itis two people of the same gender.

darn, i thought this thread would be about collective nouns for authors. Like a snipe of authors, or a gossip of authors, or a sponge of authors.

That's probably been done to death, though. Maybe we need a collective noun for collective authors. A Meta, a Cronenburg, a Melding, a Tension, a Divorce, a Disputed Earnings, a Litigation, a Mess, a Triumph, a Blending... i'm sure others could do better. Especially if you teamed up.

A few more examples:

ABBA
Nicci French (a husband/wife team)
Judith Michael (also)
Foxton Trust

>5 MrAndrew: A scribble.
