How was the con? I've always wanted to go but can't afford it!

Nope. BC in DC (my local group), however, did a great festival booth at the International Day of the Book festival in Kensington, Maryland, USA, this past weekend in which we distributed over 1,000 books!

We offered to host the 2010 con here, but were defeated by Amsterdam. :(

It was great, thanks. Oh, and I didn't know Amsterdam had won! Cool! If I can't manage to save up for NZ then I can go there! (I am seriously thinking about Charleston in October...)
