I read a book about 15 years ago that I would love to read again.
The plot goes something like this...
Two identical twin sisters travel to an Aunts cattle ranch after their father dies.
One of the sisters is beautiful but is unkind and self centered, the other is kind natured but disguises her beauty.
There is a cowboy that works on the ranch that both sisters take a fancy too.
The cowboy makes love to the kind twin thinking it was the beautiful unkind twin.
The unkind sister overhears this and fakes a pregnancy to trap the handsome cowboy into marriage.
The kind sister is actually pregnant, but is forced to conceal the pregnancy.
Eventually the kind twin ends up with the cowboy and the self centered twin runs away with another man.
I read 'A man to call my own' thinking this was the book. It has many similarities but the endings are different.
