Welcome, Ben. First the tips and tricks:
Please introduce yourself to the Club Read members and learn a little about us. We're a friendly bunch! The first post on this thread has a handy list of members, their names, and where they are from.
The group page is a handy way to find the pinned posts. Ones like "What are You Reading Now?" and "Questions for the Avid Reader".
For formatting posts (adding covers, making links, etc.) check out the links in this post.
I hope this helps.
Now for the books. I too liked The Long Walk, A Long Way Gone, and Papillon. If you like books like these, you might like We Die Alone: A WWII Epic of Escape and Endurance about a Resistance fighter in Norway. I look forward to seeing what you read this year.

>1 pOllyw0lly: warm welcome Ben. I re-read Dune when the new movie came out. Herbert was so deeply committed to his ideas. What are you reading next?
