Anyone who has ever met a child knows they can be pure evil. In everyday language, "evil children" refers to children who do things that are deeply wrong, harmful, or malicious — actions that cause pain, suffering, or harm to others, often without concern for the consequences. This can include behaviors like abuse, violence, cruelty, or breaking important rules and social norms.
This month, we are focusing on them and their misdeeds.

I read Camp Scare by Delilah S. Dawson. Most of the story takes place at Camp Care, a summer camp with a strong anti-bullying stance. Parker's fee is paid by her school, as a way to make up for the bullying she experienced in the school year by a group of popular girls, but when she walks into her assigned cabin, hoping to make friends, there is one of her school bullies.
The story features both human and ghostly evil children, and the writing elevates it. Don't expect something like Goosebumps.
