My favorite remaindered book of all time is the elegiac dual memoir Back Then: Two Literary Lives in 1950s New York by Anne Bernays and Justin Kaplan; my most recent yard sale find is From Beirut to Jerusalem by Thomas Friedman. Greyhound fodder, that last!

Due to a glitch in its loading, I hadn't thought that this group had actually been created, BTW. The above paragraph is substantially in the Broke! group, but then I saw that that Yard Sales and Remaindered had inexplicably gathered some members... Welcome!

The Treasure Valley Rollergirls had a yard sale today, and I picked up a real find: Advanced Bible History, a 1936 book replete with marvelous b/w illustrations and quite a few color plates. Just the thing for my nephews!
