Spreadsheet of locations?

1000 Places to See Before You Die

I am a member of the 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die group, which is based on the book by the same name. People in that group use an Excel spreadsheet that has all of the books listed and they keep track of how many they have read.

It would be really cool if someone had a similar spreadsheet for the 1000 places to see before you die book. I don't think there are very many people that could complete the list, but it would be a fun way of keeping track of what you'd seen...

Does anyone have one of these spreadsheets already?

I have one already, when I get home from campus tonight I will email it to whoever wants it. I have both 1000 Places and 1000 Places in America and Canada.

I was delighted to see that someone has developed a complete list of the 1,000 Places To See.... and are willing to share it. Would you please send it to me at craigjg@yorku.ca. I would really appreciate it. We have traveled extensively with our two children over the years. They now have children and grand children and I would like to make a CD for them of highlights with a few pictures based on the 1000 Places book. Having a full list would be a big help.

You seem to be enjoying life...keep it up its a wonderful world out there.

Y'all should have the 1000 Places spreadsheet in your mailboxes. Kpower, unfortunately I no longer have the 1000 Books spreadsheet, but Arukiyomi still offers it on his blog: http://johnandsheena.co.uk/books/

Army Angel1986,

I would love a copy of this excel sheet, contemplated doing it myself then did a quick search online and this is the only reliable site I have found with someone claiming they have it.

I can't believe somebody has had the fortitude to create a spreadsheet of this amazing list. I know you have been inundated by requests already, but I would absolutely love to have a copy. Kyla963@yahoo.com.
Cheers,
Kyla

Amy, this is amazing! Seriously, above and beyond. Honestly, this is worth paying for, no question. The functionality is great, the use of sort fields is user friendly, applicable and relavent -- not to mention not having to manually enter 1000 places into an excel sheet. If you decide to set up an app or something let us know, I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Thanks a million.
Kyla

Thanks very much Kyla. :) Just for curiosity's sake, how much would you be willing to pay? I'm putting together a simple site where people can make donations to get the sheet (like the 1001 Books to read site another LTer has).

For future spreadsheet requests, please go here (http://angelagross86.wix.com/occasionalgypsy) where the spreadsheet can be downloaded (for free!) without emailing me. This will eliminate the time people spend waiting for me to respond to requests, and prevent my emails from getting bounced back or stuck in spam files.
