I finished reading one of the Anita Blake Vampire-hunter books, The Harlequin to be specific. There was a passing reference to faeries.
I am not much familiar with the Meredith Gentry series, I'm about a hundred pages into A Stroke of Midnight, which is the first one that I acquired (I read most series out of order, acquiring most of my books used).
Anyways my question is:
Do the two series take place in the same fictional universe?

I've read all the books in both series and my feeling is that they are different universes, but I could easily be wrong.
