Hi everyone! I hope you don't mind, but I thought I'd mention a new podcast that I'm involved with that focuses on YA Literature. I am a college librarian and professor, and I work on two podcasts.

We have many contributors and the segments will vary from episode to episode. We have one episode out now and one on the way. (please forgive the audio on the first episode, we had some technical difficulties). We will be releasing a new episode on the 1st and 16th of each month.

It's called The Read Carpet. My segment is Transforming Echoes, and my focus is on library organizations, library questions, useful resources, and literature in the areas of biographies/autobiographies, memoirs, diaries, & historical fiction - with the intent of discussing the major issues and events surrounding cultures and groups of people.

We also have segments on comic books, fiction reviews, Australian YA literature, and more!

I hope you'll check us out and tell your friends! We hope to have some guests and perhaps some fun contests. We are in talks with some authors at this time. Thanks so much everyone!
