My German's not that great (so sorry for writing in English), but I think the translation for the "Favorites" collection might be wrong. It's currently being translated as "Lieblingsautoren." This is one of the default collections, and I'm not really sure were the master page is for translating those.

It could be reading that particular translation off the profile page, which does have "Lieblingsautoren" for Favorites, but I'm not sure whether that instance of "Favorites" on the profile is for collections or for something else (particularly since that translation pre-dates collections by 2 years...).

I see your German is not that great...well, mine is practically non existent. But, I have found a book, 1924, written in German and I don't know anything about it. Can you recommend a place to "go" to research? I can send a jpg of the cover.. complete with dust jacket. Thanks for any help... Jill (jlsteel@verizon.net)

2 - I don't think this is the right thread for your question. This group is for discussions about translating the LibraryThing website into German.

Sorry, I wouldn't really know where to go to research this. You could try searching worldcat.org, to see if you could find a library record for it. You're probably better off posting your question in a group here focused on German literature (if it's literature) or a similar forum elsewhere on the net. More generally, your best bet to start with would probably be to search the internet using some of the publication details (publication date, location, publisher, author, ISBN if it has one).
