Welcome! Can't wait to see what you're reading.

Thanks for the welcome:) Me too. I don't think that I should make a more detailed plan here because last year on the 50 book challenge I noticed that I'm absolutely unable to stick to any plans when it comes to reading... The same thing happened to my 888 and 999 challenges. So I guess this year I'll just wait and categorize what I read when I'm reading them.

I'm quite excited about the challenge, though.:) Loved to pick the categories and the temptation was hard to resist to make the 10 lists with the books as well. Only one thing is sure: my TBR piles will be attacked first.

Welcome! Short stories is definitely on my list of categories for 2011. And yay for shrinking TBR piles!

Thanks!:) My TBR piles and boxes are really pathetic, so any challlenge that helps reducing them gets three cheers here.:)

Hi Readeron, we have a lot of categories in common. I too don't want to list what I plan on reading cause I never stick to the plan. I have gone through my TBR piles and marked ones that would fit the different categories and then can choose as my mood dictates. Looking forward to seeing what you fill your categories with.

Hi, DeltaQueen50!

I've decided to fill my categories mostly with books from my unfinished 888 and 999 challenges. I think both the categories and the titles may change as time goes by (and as my mood dictates, too!:). I've already changed 2 categories.

How did you like The Reader? I read that late last year. How about Heart Shaped Box and Duma Key - they are on mt. tbr at home, maybe I ought to bump them up?

Hi LisaMorr!

I must admit that I found Reader a fast but forgettable read. I felt a bit disappointed by it.

I gave 4 stars for both Duma Key and Heart-Shaped Box. They are real page turners with interesting characters and well-built suspense, but somehow I didn't find them frightening at all (the only horror stories I've got actually scared by so far were Insomnia and The Tommyknockers). I think, they're both worth a read! Hope you'll enjoy them!

You have a very interesting list here. I look forward to watching you progress through all these books.
