Anyone know of a series kinda like the Rama series? ive read all 4 Rama books but i feel myself wanting more of the same. any ideas? Cheers

It depends what you like about Rama but it's part of a long tradition of BDO stories (Big Dumb Object). One of the modern practitioners who has done these is Jack McDevitt.

John Varley's Titan, Wizard, and Demon series. Saturn's moon Titan turns out to be a big wagon wheel alien thing controlled by an insane locally omnipotent being that has watched way too much human TV. It's some pretty impressive world-building with it's interior ecology and structure. The land is a strip on the inside of the wheel with six hollow spokes running into the central hub/control area. I was very impressed with it.

Eon by Greg Bear. There's a sequel too, but I forget its title.
Pushing Ice, Alastair Reynolds
Geodesica: Ascent and Geodesica: Descent, Sean Williams & Shane Dix

The sequel to Eon is Eternity. It also has a prequel called Legacy.
If you decide it is the BDO stories you like, whether or not they visit our solar system, then Orbitsville and its sequels by Bob Shaw is worth reading.

I like BDO stories and also just the sense of exploration of the unknown, thank you very much for you recommendations! :o)

And there's Colin Kapp's Cageworld quartet too - Search for the Sun!, The Lost Worlds of Cronus, The Tyrant of Hades and Star-Search.

Star Search: wasn't that a teevee show with Ed MacMahon?

Terry Pratchett did a Big Dumb Object in Strata (Not a serious look at the topic!). Iain Banks keeps on doing BDOs in almost all of his culture books, most recently in Matter, but also in Look to Windward, and the ubiquitous Orbitals. And Stephen Baxter does a lot of stuff on a vast scale too - especially in Ring
