For some reason my local library had two identical sets, and neither one--assuming the yellow and dateless cards glued to the endpapers were original--had ever been checked out. When one set was discarded I made my donantion (twice what they would have sold for at the library book sale) and placed them enthusiastically on my shelves at home. Very amusing reading. I'm not sure if there is a contemporary edition avaliable.
