I have the following for trade:

Dante's Purgatorio - fine/unread
Folio Anthology of Poetry - carefully read; no visible faults
Charlotte's Web - likewise
In Trouble Again - unread
The Gunpowder Plot and St Joan of Arc - unread

And a non-FS title:
Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, with illustrations by Edmund Dulac, It's a facsimile of the 1909 Hodder and Stoughton edition, and has all 20 illustrations (unlike most reprints that have 12-16); it's cloth-bound with a cover blocked in gold and a dust jacket with a protective Mylar wrap. I'd say the book is in a very good to near fine condition (a few very small stains along the top), the dust jacket likewise. Will gladly post pics if needed.

I also have two LEC titles for trade, which I've posted in the George Macy devotees forum.

I’m cleaning some stuff out – much as it pains me, I’m out of room and some things must go. I'm putting my FS LE Pepys set up for sale/trade. I'm running out of room in my house and have to prioritize my book acquisitions (I need my own library!). Although this set it beautiful; I think there is probably someone out there who would enjoy and appreciate it more than I can.

I think the set originally came with the oak bookcase, but it was advertised and sold without the oak case and/or slipcases. I put brodart plastic dust jackets over the covers to protect the bindings.

The books are in excellent condition.

If you want to trade for FS books, send me your offer. I'm also interested in EP Signed Modern Classics Series or EP LE.

Just in case anyone is interested, I do have an autographed set of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, available for trade.

The set was produced by Easton Press, and includes all 5 books, with the first book personally signed by Douglas Adams on an authentication page with a certificate of authenticity. Clearly, this set has been out of print for many years, and it will no longer be produced. I believe this was the only edition ever to actually have been signed by Adams (please correct me if I'm wrong). There are some FS books I would be willing to trade for. One of the sellers listed in the Amazon UK link is Powell's Bookstore, which is a large, independent bookstore in Portland, Oregon, with a great reputation. You can check out the listing (and their customer service policies) on their website:

The only issue I've ever heard of with Powell's is that sometimes the item is purchased by a local shopper before they pull the book for your order. But that's just rotten luck, really.

I don't have any price in mind but let me know what you think will be a reasonable offer. The books are brand new but not shrinkwrapped. I am in USA

I dont suppose anyone has the 3 volume Oscar Wilde set for trade or sale... In like new/fine condition. I dont care if its the red or cream version.

>78 SirFolio16:
I do, in fact, the red version. The books are in a like new condition, though the slipcase has a bump on one of the corners and it split along several edges in shipping; I glued the edges together with sellotape and it holds very well, though the sellotape is of course noticeable; I could send you a couple of photos if you'd like.

I wonder if this was a common condition of this set. I too have the red Oscar Wilde three-volume set and my slipcase was likewise damaged in shipping, with bumps to the corners and a split along the top right seam. It is very heavy and so in a sense not surprising. This was before I was aware at how accommodating Folio Society is at sending replacements and I failed to request one prior to the set going out of print.

I've got the cream one and my slip case was also damaged. The gold lettering has started to come off. I think the books are way too heavy for the case.
