Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you can recommend some books for me. I'm going to B&N on Saturday and I need ideas. If you people could give me some ideas, I'd feel so grateful. Thanks.

Impossible to recommend to you without knowing what you're likely to be interested in. Fiction or non-fiction? In fiction, are you character driven or plot driven? In non-fiction, what's your interest - history, philosophy, biography, military????? Etc., Etc. At least give us some hints.

I just got "Forever" by Pete Hamill and The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray byChris Wooding, both recommended by LTers. Have you read the nine books of Robin Hobb, starting with The Farseer Trilogy, the The Liveship Traders Trilogy, and ending with The Tawny Man Trilogy? Excellent epic fantasy!

ETA: I can't get the correct "Forever" to load into touchstones; it's the one by Pete Hamill.
