I'm not Indian, but French! I admire very much indian litterature (Roy, Vikram Seth, Mintry). My last book is "L'ombre du vent" (shadow of wind) by spanish author Carlos Ruiz Zafon.

A Fine Balance by Minstry is such a thought provoking book.A master piece as far as I am concerned.
