Description: Telegraph Art & Comics is a comic shop unlike any other in Charlottesville, VA. We carry a wide selection of monthly titles, graphic novels, and trade paperbacks, but our specialty is working with smaller publishers and independent artists. We believe that comics are for everyone, and this is reflected in our wide selection.

We regularly host signings and special events - if you want to be the first to hear about these, please "follow" our Facebook page to receive event invitations.

We have an extensive kids' section, and pride ourselves on being able to find a comic for any child, from early readers to young adults. You'll find best sellers like Smile, Drama, El Deafo, and Amulet, as well as board books for early readers, and comics classics like Calvin & Hobbes, Tintin, Asterix, and Nancy.

We carry a wide selection of manga, from classics like Tezuka's Buddha to modern favorites like Attack On Titan, One Piece, and Sailor Moon. Shojo, shonen, & horror manga? Got it covered! We even have a small selection of Japanese language titles.

We carry an ever-growing selection of self-published comics, zines and art prints by artists from Charlottesville and all around the world. We work a number of conventions each year, including the Toronto Comic Arts Festival, the Small Press Expo, and San Diego Comic Con, which allows us to buy new comics directly from the artists. When you shop with us, you aren't just supporting small business here in Charlottesville, you're also supporting independent comic artists around the world.
