Schuler Books & Music is the largest independent bookseller in Michigan. Our Eastwood Towne Center location in Lansing is the third of 5 stores in Michigan (along with our Okemos store in the Meridian Mall, and three stores located in the company hometown of Grand Rapids). Boasting big store selection with independent attention, our stores hold regular author events, and play host to a number of book groups and intellectual organizations.

The Eastwood Towne Center location hosts authors weekly, and is home to the Schuler Comic Discussion Group, the Fanged Fiction horror book group, and Cafe Scientifique, our monthly science discussion group hosted by professors from the Lansing Community College Science Department. We also organize the Schuler E-Studio, our online book community, featuring our booksellers blog and weekly chats with bestselling authors like Michael Scott, Kate Jacobs and John Flanagan.

Schuler Books is also home to the Chapbook Cafe, providing coffee, treats and gourmet salads and sandwiches.
