The Book Bank

This shop moved to a new venue around the corner from Toowong Village, but sadly had to close as the building within which it existed was demolished for new constructions. I know the owner opened a cafe but the bookshop has remained packed away.

I always find something interesting when I visit this shop. Good quality fiction and non-fiction, some lovely photographic and art books too. Also possible to take books back and get credit for your next buy.

A sane refuge from mainstream bookstores in the Toowong area. This store was where I learned to appreciate second hand books. Store is smaller and range can be limited, but I always found a pleasant surprise when I looked there.
