The first rule of HelpThing is "be bold!" If you can add or edit it, go ahead. We also have a HelpThing Style Guide.
You can edit your profile to share a little more about yourself with other LibraryThing members. You can also change settings for certain LibraryThing features. There are six sub-pages you use to edit your Profile and settings: Profile, Account, Contacts, Display Styles, Sites/Apps, and Miscellaneous. You can navigate between these pages using the menu at the left of any sub-page.
The Help page you are now reading describes the Sites/Apps subsection of Edit Profile.
LibraryThing can integrate with certain bookstore websites and with Twitter! After you change selections on this page, make sure to click to Save Changes button.
Neighborhood Bookshop Integration
Several bookstores have integrated their inventory information with the LibraryThing system. If you'd like links to any of these bookstores (with pricing/availability information) to appear on HelpThing:Work pages as you view them, click here. For more information, see the bookstore integration FAQ.
Give us your username. LibraryThing (LThing) will add you as a friend and allow you to add books via Direct Message.
To add a book to your account, Tweet "D LThing [ISBN or Title] #tag1, #tag2, etc." or "D LThing [ISBN or Title] #collection1, #collection2, etc." (without the brackets). Collection names should typed lowercase without spaces. We check for messages every 2 minutes or so; it's not quite instant.
