This is a beautiful book detailing the life of Thomas Jefferson in an easy to read, but still informational, way. It starts with talking about Thomas Jefferson's family and ends with his death. Everything worth noting in his life is stated. But this book goes beyond his life. It talks about the early culture of America from why slaves were not allowed to be taught how to read to basic manners that were required of high society that Jefferson had to adhere to in his social circle. And the entire book is covered in beautiful, detailed, illustrations as well as descriptive imagery that helps captures the imagination. ( )
