So cute! This book begins with Yotsuba trying to play with her father while he has work to do, That so reminds me of my grandson. Then the next chapter goes on to show Yotsuba making pancakes with her dad. If anyone has ever made pancakes with a youngster, this chapter will have you laughing out loud. It is a true depiction of the pancake-making process with a young child.

So sweet! Jumbo buys Yotsuba an animal sticker book. She proceeds to put the sticker son blocks, and they both play zoo together. i can relate to that. Then Daddy and Jumbo take Yotsuba and Fuuka to an electronics sore. So much to see! So much to touch! So much to try out! Daddy can't figure out which camera to buy. I can relate tot hat as well. Don't fall asleep before you get home, Yotsuba!

Aw!!! Yotsuba borrows Asagi's exercise ball and break things accidentally at home after borrowing the ball. Her dad takes her to the scary shrine to get rid of Yotsuba's "lying bug". Was such a scary lesson really necessary? I don't know, but this chapter was really funny.

I liked this volume very, very much. It's quite endearing! ( )

Book description
Yotsuba loooooves playing games! When Daddy's the counter at hide-and-seek, he can never find Yotsuba, 'cause I'm such a good hider! And when we go to the park, Yotsuba's the bestest at swing-tag-shoe-races. Daddy says Yotsuba's just making up the rules as we go along, but Yotsuba thinks Daddy's just a sour loser. But maybe Yotsuba will let him win once in a while...
