Black Cat is a thief that some times helps out the good guys (sounds like a cat from DC doesn't it). Her mother is kidnapped and someone tries to trick her into helping them steel back a russian cache of art and priceless antiques. I was expecting the volume to feature Spiderman but he wasn't really in the initial story line since Black Cat was trying to protect him. He was however in the two shorts that followed, one about a bank theft and one focusing exclusively on their fwb relationship. Both of those stories were on the goofy side which made a great counterpoint for the first story. ( )
