Adult/teen graphic novel. A series of short comics about the adventures and origins of Electric Girl, who, thanks to a mischievous gremlin, has the ability to conduct/create/influence electrical currents. Not really that clever or interesting; kind of boring and pointless. ( )

This book doesn't quite know what it wants to be. The story lines read at a junior high level, but there a few scenes where a character smokes, but includes a very anti-underage drinking story line. The heroine is 19 and I assume in college, but there is a flashback story to when she was little and almost abducted by a known child predator (again heavy handed). I'm really not sure what to think of the story.

I like the drawing style, I like the characters. I just don't like the situation the characters are in. There is also no overreaching story Arc, each story is by itself and doesn't really connect.

I think if the story was stronger, this would have been a very excellent graphic novel. However, as it is, its only rates a 3 star rating. ( )

Don’t be misled by the title or her powers, though, into thinking she’s a superhero; this comic revolves around humorous slice-of-life encounters.
