A gem from the UK, little known in the USA. The basic premise is familiar, since it’s been ripped off several times since Survivor was first published in the mid-70s: A man is the only survivor of a passenger plane crash, in fact he walks away unscathed. Soon people start dying in gruesome ways around the crash site. An entertaining and chilling read. ( )
