Book description
This book would help people learn more about the Earth and its moon. The audience is students and teachers. Students and teachers can use this book to look up information about the Earth and its moon that they didn’t know before. This book has a table of contents in the beginning to show you what page a certain topic is on. This book tells people everything they need to know about earth. For example, the book explains where Earth is, how big it is, what it looks like, what makes up Earth, what Earth’s atmosphere is like, what the weather is on Earth, and many more things. This book also has pictures to go along with each topic. The words in the book that are bolded are the words that are in the glossary at the end of the book. At the end of the book it has a page of fun facts about the Earth and Earth’s moon. The last page of the book contains an Index to help people find certain words they might be looking for. This book would be difficult for children to read because it has big words and many paragraphs per page. This book uses the science process skill of modeling because it shows several different types of models of Earth and its moon. I chose this book because it contains a lot of true information about Earth and its moon that children would be interested in.
