The Misumi sisters are back in the second volume of the Shaolin Sisters: Reborn series. This novel's main focus is Seilin, the eldest sister, as her powers are introduced and she receives her bell.

The sisters Seilin and Julin are assigned to investigate a competition held by Sanji; one of the White Lotus Clan, their male enemies. It is at the competition that they meet a Chinese brother, Shouryuu, and a sister, Shouko, who also have bells... but theirs are the power of darkness. Shino arrives to attack Shouryuu and attempted to steal all of his fighting energy. Meanwhile, Selin is challenged by Nini somewhere else. Shouko and Julin decide to fight together although they worry about mixing the forces of light and darkness.

Another great volume to this series. The addition of new characters adds interest and complexes the series. Now we are left wondering what the possible consequences will be because of this mixture between light and dark. ( )
