The fourth volume out of five in the Shaolin Sisters series.

The showdown between Julin and Nini intensifies. Julin has, through the memories of her sensei and Kio, mastered the Shaolin Stone Fist in both arms. Julin is able to defeat Nini with some assistance from Kalin. They leave to continue their journey, but Kalin is intercepted by Iga, who attempts to help until Kalin says that he isn't a bad guy, which causes him to leave.

Kuichi is about to applu his finishing blow to Seilin until Shark, Seilin's companion, appears to save her. Shark convinces her to leave in order to face Bai Wang while he continues on with Kuichi. The two guys fight not only to destroy each other but to also claim Seilin's heart.

Selin meets her sisters through chance and they travel together. On their way up the mountain, Julin hears voices from the ground. But then the girls are attacked by Shino and Sanji. Seilin and Shino fight away from Kalin, Julin, and Sanji, At the height of the battles, the mountain begins to shake.... Also during the action, the mountain had swallowed Bai Wang and analyzed her. It asked her to join it but she refused to yield her independence.

Another good installment. This volume was used mostly to set up the ending of this particular series. One thing I really enjoyed about this volume was the involvement of Hina, Kalin's bunny, and Juliney, Julin's bird. They both play small, vital roles and it adds a bit of humor to the dark circumstances. ( )
