This is a fantastic book for preteen and early teen readers. It's a bit dated, written prior to the internet and cell phones, but the story is interesting and the characters are fun. The author does a great job of ending most chapters with exciting cliffhangers that make the reader want to read on. Perfect for reluctant readers. Highly recommended. ( )
