I gained a little more insight into how various segments of American society applied the "pursuit of happiness" phrase from the Declaration of Independence, and latter freedom of speech which raised legal issues as to how one groups limitations interferes with individual freedom of choice. I was surprised to know that during the 19th century "free love" (slang) was in in certain groups and it did not start in the 60's. These were not all happy ever after endings for the person involved in these movements from the norm. I got a little distracted with the labor union issue, one of the subjects I dislike from the past. ( )
