Feinstein can come across as arrogant (which I'm sure he is), but he has certainly walked among the greats of the world of sports. His inside look at those encounters is a delicious read, especially the portion devoted to the irascible Bobby Knight. ( )

Feinstein writes well and he tells good stories. In this book he tells stories about how he wrote some of his books and about some of the people that were instrumental in helping to make many of his books best sellers. ( )
