This is my very first read of romance/erotica novel from a male perspective.. Found myself laughing out loud right from the beginning! Not the usual norm of romance I'm used to read, or comfortable with. But if you can jump out of your usual, comfort zone, you might find yourself laughing along, and admittedly enjoying this unusual romance between daring sexy older women (do we call them, "cougar"? with chuckle) and very willing young men in this story. First comes to mind, one might think it's "almost-porn," but I found myself actually didn't even think about that. In fact, this is very much a real possibility (not just in Hollywood) that can happen between couples and turn into true love, not without many twists, complications, stumbling blocks, crazy plot. Yes, with raw emotion and sex, but I sure had lots of laugh reading about all these characters. And want to find out what Victoria, Jillian, and their men are up to next. ( )

Book description
A new novel from the author of Shrinkage.

Jillian Grayson is a jaded, recently divorced best-selling romance novelist who now can’t write a chapter without her hunky male heartthrob suffering E.D., an S.T.D. or even worse. Brian Nash is a tennis-obsessed, college senior who’s unlucky in love and the roommate and best friend of Jillian’s son Rob. He’s infatuated with a super-flexible and ex-ballet dancing co-ed named Natalie, who’s toying with his affections. When Rob brings Brian home for spring break and he meets the surprisingly young and also tennis passionate Jillian, their shared interest quickly develops into an intense mutual attraction. As they struggle to fight their feelings, tennis becomes their sex replacement until the on-court heat almost leads them to the bedroom. After the near miss, the horny pair hatches a plan, while under the influence (of something more than just the perfect Miami night), to be Friends With Partial Benefits complete with rules to define the boundaries. Will the lonely pair find that an F.W.P.B. relationship is just what they need to break them out of their respective funks or will they discover it’s a really bad idea?
