This book is about a football coach in Iowa that not only helps make the kids he coaches better athletes but also better men. One day a tornado rips through the town destroying everything. He then tells the people of Parkersburg that they will rebuild the football stadium in time for the first home game of the season. He does this so that everyone will know that the rebuilding of the town can happen.
