Bunny and the Bear by Eve Langlais Funny paranormal shifters in a suspense romance format. First in a series. Super sexy with lots of uninhibited sex. Not erotica. Highly entertaining and amusing. Not a cliff hanger but the epilogue leads to the next book. And frankly, I can't wait to read the rest of this series. Pure escapism. Totally fun. Miranda is an agent for FUC and is assigned to protect bear shifter Chase from being kidnapped. She's a bunny shifter and no takes her seriously until she shifts then look out. This is the first in the Furry United Coalition. The world building is good. The characters are wonderful. I enjoyed the alternating points-of-view. The humor is contagious. I laughed so much when picturing Miranda and Chase. I love humor. They are an unlikely couple but so much fun. I look forward to reading the rest of the series Check out my review and two teasers here: http://frommetoyouvideophoto.blogspot.com/2012/09/made-grade-furry-united-coalit... no reviews | add a review

This book is exactly what the synopsis and the 'Warning' at the top of the synopsis says it is. In fact, the warning is so perfect that I feel the need to repeat it here.
"Warning: A sense of humor is required for this tongue in cheek, paranormal romance. It contains coarse language and explicit sexual situation meant for open minded adults. Please note, that while no bunnies were permanently harmed in the making of this story, the prognosis isn't so good for the pie."
This is the second book I have read by this author. I was not disappointed. It gave me exactly what I was looking for. Playful and amusing. It is made up of various types of comedy and spiced up with adult sexual situations and a mystery. There is satire, slapstick, and wise-cracking. Nothing is taken too seriously. Every scene is prey for a good laugh!
This book deserves 5 stars because it is exactly what it says it is. It is not pretentious. It will make you laugh, grin and snort out loud. There are a couple of editing errors, but they are overwhelmed by the humor and the easy flow of the writing.
Be prepared for your cheeks to hurt from grinning and out loud laughter.
