I enjoyed this book. I wanted the story to continue with the lives of the different couples. I would recommend this to others. ( )

rabck from southernfryed; three college girls meet at the fountain during their 15 year reunion. All remember who the other was SUPPOSED to marry - and all tell their story of the months surrounding graduation. Then the epilogue reveals who they DID marry, which was the better man, of course! ( )

Fast and enjoyable read ( )

Rating applies to the playaway edition. I have listened to many audio books over the years and this player version of the book had the poorest narration I have experienced. The text was read in "clauses" with distracting emphasis on odd words. The reader did a better job on dialogue. ( )

Book description
Three women meet at their fifteen-year class reunion…and discover that their lives have taken unexpected directions.

Back in their college days, Gretchen Wise had been engaged to a top law student. Carol Furness, head cheerleader, had said yes to the school's football hero. And Maddie Cobain was the girl who'd fallen for a professor.

Now the three of them gather around a popular fountain on the college grounds. This fountain was where lovers met, where promises were made…and broken. So it's fitting that Gretchen, Carol and Maddie sit here to share their stories of betrayal and, yes, revenge. Stories of finding new love…
