When a little fish named Adri sets out to explore the ocean, he discovers how different and how much the same all the fish are. You Be You Summary: "You Be You" by Linda Kranz is a story about diversity and the importance of valuing individuality between all the fish. It explains all the different colors, shapes, and sizes of all the fishes. Personal Reaction: This is a good book to teach kids to be themselves and to not care about the color of their skin. I really liked this book and how it has a message that needs to be taught to kids. Extension Ideas: 1. I would have the students paint fishes any color they want them to be. 2. I would have a lesson about diversity and have them draw pictures of themselves and their friends to understand all the differences and similarities between everyone. no reviews | add a review
