This was a pleasant enough read, but it doesn't really grip the reader. Still, it's meant to be a guest-room sort of book, and it's fun for that. At some point, however, the gimmick aspect tends to show through. ( )

Given that all the submissions were 140 characters or less, this anthology was a quick amusing read that I would recommend. Many of the entries were touching despite or perhaps because of their brevity and many were quite humorous. ( )

As an avid user of Twitter I was excited at the prospects of a book full of thoughts limited to 140 characters. I am that person who feels the need to share tweets with everyone around them. That being said, the collection of tweets contained in this book were, trying a bit to hard to be literature for my taste. They reminded me of a website I used to frequent were people would try to tell stories in one sentence. I do think that interesting things happen when you provide constraints for an author, (140 characters max!) I also prefer something more substantial from my literature. ( )

Twitter, in ebook form! I thought the concept for this book had potential, but perhaps the twitterverse has not yet produced enough interesting tweet to fill a book. ( )

Interesting idea, but the execution is lacking. It's not clear to me how these tweets/poems were selected. Quality of selections needs to be upgraded. Also, being a visual person I would say that there's too much white space and I would have liked to have seen some borders, photos, graphics, illustration added to the book. I would encourage the author to go back to the drawing board and include stronger Tweets. (By comparison, PBS held a contest for Tweet poems and the calibre of entries was very high. The author needs a devise a method of collecting stronger examples.)
