The High Spots Yearbooks were issued for the following years:
1939, 1940, 1942 and 1944
The club's magazine was also called High Spots during the period 1922-1937. From 1938-1944 the magazine was replaced with the Bulletin of the Adirondack Mountain Club which was much less extensive than the High Spots magazine which often contained extensive articles on conservation and recreation issues from some of the leading minds of the perod. (The reduction was no doubt due to the depression.) The High Spots Yearbooks made up for the limited nature of the bulletins. An example of the articles in the Yearbooks is the 1940 issue which publishes North Doonerak by Robert Marshall and an obituary to this icon of the wilderness preservation movement. ( )
