The Good Stuff

Recipes are easy to make (and in most cases really fast to make as well)
All of the ingredients can be found at your local supermarket even in a small town like Bolton
Simple step by step instructions
The pictures really add to the enjoyment of the book as well as encourage you to make the recipes
Good variety of recipes for all tastes and skill levels
Nice to see some Gluten Free recipes included
Helpful tips and tricks on some of the recipes
This book is perfect for those who want to do some weekend cooking and fill up the chest freezer with ready to thaw meals for busy weeknights
Wife wants you to know the Index is awesome - she is such a nerd for this sort of thing, but in her defense it really makes it easy to find things. And she also likes how the book is organized
The tips dealing with if you are freezing a recipe are extremely helpful

The Not So Good Stuff

Really could have benefited by having more pictures
Would have been nice to have some one dish desserts
Not a lot of low fat types of recipes

Favorite Recipes

Lemon Chicken and Spinach Noodle Soup (wife made with gluten free noodles & still tasted good)
Slow Cooker Beef and Mushroom Stew (house smells really good when making this one)
Slow Cooker Creamy Mushroom Chicken Stew (FAST, EASY & YUMMY)
Gluten-Free Quinoa Salad with Creamy Tahini Dressing
Creamy Meatballs and Noodles (Make sure onion is chopped really fine & we used only 1/2 onion)

Who Should/Shouldn't Use

This cookbook (like most of the Canadian Living cookbooks) is perfect for the beginner to intermediate cook. The more experienced cook may be a wee bit bored with this one
A must have for every house especially for busy households where you can make this stuff ahead and thaw as needed
