DeeDee’s spirit is still waiting on Tara to figure out what happened to her and why. Tara’s hottie boyfriend is still willing to put up with her lunatic life – or is he? She finally has BFF’s in her life besides ghosts. How can life get any better than this? The only problem she has now, besides solving a mystery, is someone is sending seriously bad vibes her way that they want her dead.

As Tara and her uncle try to find their place in the latest town they’ve moved to, Tara tries to focus on her senior year and keeping her grades up but pesky ghosts wanting help or offering advice and events beyond her control keep happening. While she knows that she’s always been different, she wonders if she’ll ever fit in.

An enjoyable sequel to book one in this series!

Favorite Quote: “Tara had no intention of letting Flynn O’Mara know how much she’d missed him. She folded her arms across her chest and glared. Even if he did look beyond hot, she wasn’t letting him know.” ( )

Even the classes she had with Flynn, who made everything fun, never seemed to end. By the time the last bell rang, she was fired up like a roman candle on the Fourth of July. She bolted from her seat, made a quick stop at her locker, and slipped out a side door instead of taking the front, knowing full well she was going to miss seeing Flynn. She didn't have time to delay or explain, and she had a feeling he wouldn't be all that thrilled in what she was doing. He was pretty cool about her psychic stuff, but digging for bodies fell way out of the realm of normal-even for her.… (more)
