Gorgeous book. The limited color scheme scheme really worked in this melancholy depiction of a farm family in a post-war, sometime-in-the-future world. Can't wait for the next. ( )

I enjoyed the monochromatic-ish, rocket man setting going on here, and I particularly liked the photo inspirations in the back. It's a little slow moving for me, a little too mysterious. This is a solid piece of work, and a lovely one, just not my cup of tea. ( )

Some beautiful artwork, but pretty sparse on story. ( )

I really loved this book. The story and art are superb. My only disappointment was knowing I had to wait for the 2nd one. ( )

The images in this graphic novel series make it seem sort of old-fashioned, but the war technology is advanced, and the timeless quality and mysteries left over from a recent war make it impossible to put this series down. This is the first in the series.
