Some only showed the head - one was just a chick breaking out of the shell. It would also have been nice to have a scale for each one - maybe compare it to a 6 ft person or something to give an idea of how big they really are. ( ) This is a great nonfiction book depicting several stories concerning birds and their daily battles. If gives you details of which birds fight with the others and what happens when they fight. This book has great bright pictures that just can entice any childs imagination. We could use this as an extention to a report maybe on migration paths and ways of certain birds. It could also lead us into a creative writing session depicting a new species and the adaptations they would have. no reviews | add a review
