An interesting, delicious and diverse collection of recipes full of flavor and textural variety. At the time of this review, I've personally prepared 15 of the recipes in this volume; all turned out successfully and were well received by my diners. I'd definitely recommend this to vegetarians as well as meat-eaters looking to add color and enhanced nutrition to their meals, but I would have enjoyed more than 6 photographs in a volume containing more than 600 recipes. Really great ideas for a new vegetarian. Some recipes I'll never make because I don't buy many of some ingredients. However, recipes like the Avocado Frappe and Fried Chickpeas will stay in our family a LONG time. ( )

Cabbage Stuffed with Bulgur and Fruit, p. 239, sweet, not very filling, probably will not make again, too much effort.

A good source for vegetarian recipes (obviously) and for using up some esoteric ingredients you may find in your pantry..... ( )

Creative and easy recipes that actually taste good. Calorie information is a plus for those watching what they eat. I also liked the information sidebars. ( )
