Artemis paired with Holly Short have to save the world yet again, albeit this time the world they are saving is that of demon-kind, one of the branches of fairy that broke from the mainstream when the fairies went underground. Hybras, the demon world, was magically moved to Limbo. Now it's tether is breaking by decaying magic. When no.1 imp goes back in time, or forward in time he encounters Holly and company who are there to help. Artemis tries to reason with the devil n1, well crafted story, however it skips around critical character development. Colfer deliberately avoid the reader from getting to know more about the characters, to get to the point, perhaps because the author thinks if the reader really cared, they would read past the last book of the artemis fowl series. no reviews | add a review

When demons begin appearing on Earth unpredictably, foreshadowing a cataclysmic breakdown of their magic, Artemis and his friends face a new foe--a twelve-year-old girl whose intellect just might match Artemis's own--as they try to prevent catastrophe. No library descriptions found.

It is also the last one I own and I'll finish on this book instead of hunting down the further books. The series has been fun but it's not changing a lot as it progresses. ( )
