As a contributor to this book, and as a friend of the Author, I am reluctant to review this work before more serious thought. Suffice it to say that it is a little jewel, in its own right, and as the final gem in that crown of humanistic scholarship which Philipp Fehl created over a career of several decades. There are no words to describe the thousand graces and plain hard work contributed by Raina Fehl in the preparation of this volume after the Author'sdeath in September 2000. ( )
