This book truly did give "God's Perfect Plan for Women in Marriage" as the front cover states. I like an author who gives plenty of scripture to back up what she is saying, and Elyse Fitzpatrick did this. I also liked the questions she asked at the end of each chapter and the personal illustrations she sometimes shared. I also enjoyed her introduction and her three beliefs that "under-girded" what she was going to talk about: 1) The Bible is our guide, 2) Our primary call is to reflect His Son, 3) We need God's grace and power. I highly recommend this book to married ladies of all ages. You should never stop learning how to be a 'helper by design'. ( )

This book explores temptations for women in any season and helps to give a realistic and Biblically informed picture of marriage. Contrary to my expectations, it actually helped to cultivate contentement in my singleness.
