The large map included with this guide is excellent as are the maps for individual places or regions.

However the Getting Here sections seem to be incomplete and inconsistent and don't give times of journeys.

Similarly the index is very unhelpful. For example if I wanted to find the section on the Boboli Gardens it is not in the index under B. It is under G for Giardino di Boboli. If you don't know any Italian how would you know to look there?!

On the plus side it does give honest descriptions for the traveller e.g. 'Pacing your art intake' p.41
